Default A rare bit of good luck

finally my policy of hanging back from the car infront in traffic queues, and staring at my mirror in a paranoid grimace paid off at the weekend. looked back to see a 4x4 approaching rather too rapidy, moved forward to close the gap, and he stopped just behind us. Thankfully it was a big heavy job, and he still had his foot on the brake, so when the car behind ran into him, he stayed put.

I've only had the car a week, so I was rather relieved to drive off and leave them to it!

(I really don't have much luck with cars, I will write a book one day...)

and 3 whiplash claims!

had the dog in the back, so good result. had a great day walking in the Lakes (or rather carrying a 6 year old up Skiddaw...)
also discovered the an 8 year old A6 Avant isn't too shabby in the bends, which is nice.
