My mum blacked out whilst driving her car and ended up causing some serious damage as the car mounted the curb and slid down a concrete wall, she remembers nothing of it. Infact when she came round, she didn't even know who she was, where she was or recognise anyone for a good hour or so. So I can believe this story.

Witnesses described Ms Johnson's car "drifting" from the right hand lane into the left hand lane and accelerating down from the brow of the hill before it mounting the kerb. The car then hit the cyclists, and one of them "bounced" off the bonnet of Johnson's car before she ploughed into the back of a red Peugeot, and then smashed into a lamp post causing it to fall to the floor. Her car spun round in the air from the impact of the crash. None of the witnesses saw her brake lights come on.

I still remember years ago when some drunken **** lost control and drove onto the pavement at pretty high speed and missed my mother by inches. I'd have killed him-slowly!
