Direct flight to Vegas
I'm looking at going to Vegas for a week, starting the 23rd of October. So far I have only really come across connecting flights. I really don't want one of those and would prefer to fly direct.
Based in the Midlands but don't mind travelling to get a good flight.
Anybody have experience of where to find such flights?
TIA

Even if you don't book with virgin you can still go on their website and pretend to look for a flight. They have a really neat little price vs date matrix that helps you identify cheaper times & dates.. you can then use that info to narrow your search else where!

Virgin fly direct from Gatwick once a day.. BA also started doing a daily flight but not sure if that is a seasonal thing as when I booked my flights to vegas they were not going direct.. I only found out they did when I was leaving vegas and saw a BA flight to Gatwick leaving just after ours did..

BA direct from LHR to Vegas, £524 economy, sale started yesterday. Virgin direct from LGW is £499, sale started today. Not much point in searching for cheaper flights with either airline, as they guarantee the prices (unless you're in the industry).

I used to feel exactly the same way. The long trips from Calgary in the VC10 used to wear you down, it was always a very early start too. It was a relief to have to land at Keflavik to refuel so that you could get off the aircraft for a while.
