Aviation Enthusiasts - meet at Hendon or Cosford Oct 2010?
Off the back of the Messerschmitt 109 thread i posted yesterday it seems there is some interest in a get together and walk around at Hendon or Cosford, perhaps both?
OK then how about Hendon or Cosford ,Sat 2nd or 3rd of October 2010?

I personally haven't been to Hendon for some 10 years now and am interested to see whats new. Never been to Cosford at all so this is of real interest as well.
Please register any interest on this thread and preferred destination and i will contact the mods about the best way/place to put this.
It would be good to visit both of course

I could be up for this, will need to check the diary. 
Hendon would be my preferred destination. Did some work there a few years ago lifting some of the planes in to position hanging from the roof.

Potentially interested - especially if a few of the more learned members on here went to talk about the exhibits and educate me and my little lad who would come as well.

Damn I've just done a swop of on call so I'm working that weekend now 
Used to live very near Cosford and a friends dad was RAF so used to go there during school holidays (Mum dropped us off, he took us home).
Never been to Hendon despite living down south for 15 years.

Tie in the trip out with the Midlands Breakfast Club meeting at Cosford on 24th Oct.
I went earlier in the year and both the Meet and the Museum are worth seeing. Just make sure you get there early and also pay for your parking (£2 I think)

Hendon would be my preference as it is local. Went there today and it was spot-on, plenty of parking and far from busy. Would happily share my knowledge were I can

The trick is to ask nicely which is what i did, the first sticky thread i have ever asked for and i guess it will be of benefit to some of the community
So then, What does it show exactly or to put it another way;
Have you had a request for a sticky thread refused?
What was the thread about??
Why was it refused???
Or is it the case you know someone who knows someone who had a request refuse, naming no names, etc
Perhaps for once you could be so kind as to put up or shut up, for the sake of the community

I stickied it as we were asked nicely to do so and I didn't see the harm, it's only for a few weeks. We were also asked to stick another one recently, and I did. Go look, it's not hard to find.
By all means if anyone has a problem, RTM it and I'll happily let another mod decide whether they stay or go. I was just trying to be nice.

Would a poll indicating a preference of location be a good idea?
I would like to go to Cosford but as I am Up North, I don't have the required jabs for Hendon.

OK then, how about Hendon First a couple of people have pm'd me expressing a preference for Hendon. With that in mind, how about Cosford Next year - say March 2011 so both are covered
