Tighten them for arsing about with a bull. Reminds of that fella who brought up and lives with the Grizzly Bear, I'm sorry for if it ripped your head off, tighten you for being stupid.

I went to a bull fight in Algeciras just for the expereince.
I thought it was a particularly cruel affair, The bull was very poorly placed in that he was not going to survive whatever happened. It is weakened by having spears stuck in its back so that the bullfighter has an easier job. When the bull which has been in extreme phsysical pain is eventually run through with the bullfighter's sword, it is an extenuated death for the poor creature.
I left in protest and would never go to another one.

Ditto Les. That's the picadors you are describing on horseback whose job was to weaken the bull's back muscles to prevent it shaking its horns around too much. I was probably around 12 - 14 at the time but don't remember thinking much how cruel it was.
