On the back of the "old console game brought up to date" thread, I wondered what consoles were still amongst us

What consoles do you still have?

Well heres my list

GRANDSTAND PONG ( it still has its gun in working order )

INTELLIVSION ( quite a few games and voice emulator )

GAME AND WATCH ( I have two of these, fire and mole )

MEGADRIVE ( lots of games )

NINTENDO GAMEBOY ( only play Tetris on this )

SEGA SATURN ( still love sega rally )

PLAYSTATION 1 ( first game was wipeout )

PSP ( for my gaming fix away from the house lol )

NINTENDO DS ( need to train my brain )

PLAYSTATION 2 ( I dont have a dance mat honest )

PLAYSTATION 3 ( great bit of kit when its not updating )

NINTENDO WII ( Great with friends, must get some sometime )

XBOX ELITE ( no need for any more now, maybe )

Then theres the ones that are no longer with us, NES, SNES, GAMEGEAR, VECTREX, ATARI, DREAMCAST, countless old computers, I stopped playing games on computers when consoles became mainstream

I would love to still have my VECTREX been to have a look at a few on ebay but not found one that didnt have a fault ot two

So do I class myself as a gamer geek ?? maybe

I've had a lot more though over the years, works out as 19 in total, excluding several PC's!

Looking at eBay, I think they are appreciating antiques; some people are asking £30+ for them and mine is in better nick.

My sister had a Sega Game Gear
You could play it for about 45 mins before the battery was dead

Still have a Sega Saturn here, i flogged my original one when i thought they were going to crash and burn (which they did) and then re-bought one years later for £40

Wish I hadn't sold my MegaDrive now! Still have a GameGear and Gameboy though.

Also have an N64 in its box and the Xbox360 and PS3 I have that are ready to play. Funnily enough I bought the Xbox360 and PS3, then they just sat there for ages because I never really played games anymore. But since MW2 came out I play the PS3 quite a bit.

Think i've had them all over the years, just an Xbox 360 now.
I'm looking to try and buy old consoles again as collectors items especially a megadrive and snes, trying to find them boxed in good condition is hard

Lots of others have come and gone over the years, the usual Sega's and PS1 but I never had the SNES or NES.

Atari 2600 (with the nice wood trim ) - still got.
Spectrum 48k, rubber keys, etc. - died but think I've still got it somewhere.
Commodore 64.
Amiga A500 with 1Mbyte RAM upgrade and second floppy - still got.
Sega Game Gear + TV tuner. - still got.
Sega Mega Drive.
Nintendo - SNES - still got.
Playstation 1 - still got.
Sega Dreamcast - still got.
Playstation 2 - still got.
Wii - still got.

Since getting married my gaming has taken a bit of a back seat Hence no XBox 360 or PS3. One day I'll reclaim my time from DIY.
