Again the UK is the laughing stock of Europe and another reason to head straight for the UK, not stop in any other EU country - once here it is the devils own job to remove, even convicted criminals who have served their time here prior to deportation.
All about human rights , not human responsibilities
"The government remains committed to removing individuals with no right to be in the UK as quickly as possible."
Fast-track deportation was introduced to deal with certain types of case, such as those involving unaccompanied children who could not be detained before removal and posed a risk of absconding.
It was also applied to individuals thought to be at risk of suicide once given their removal instructions, and instances where reduced notice was deemed necessary "to maintain order and discipline" at a detention centre.

"Welcoming the ruling, Donna Covey, chief executive of the Refugee Council, said many people refused asylum in the UK "have serious grounds for appeal if given the chance". ..."
Ummm. I was always under the impression that asylum seekers MUST ask in the first country in the EU rather than trek through the whole continent before stopping somewhere they 'preferred'?! So they have NO grounds for appeal and should be sent packing as soon as they arrive. Ask for asylum in the UK, send them back. NO need for the courts at all. Simples.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha thank **** we dont have that many in NI. We just intimidate them to the point their life here is worse that their life in their own country that they actually do leave. happened to about 20 eastern europeans living in craigavon. it's got to the point were "big issue" jobs are at saturation point anyway. we dont need or want anymore fiddle/acordian players either.

I sometimes think the EU sees us as the local dumping ground for all and sundry that no one else wants

None of the big three (or is it now two) parties wish to recognise or even tackle this.
and let's not forget that anyone even mentioning immigration in any light other that is is the best thing for the country and the possibility of curbing it considered a DM reading racist, fascist xenophobic moron by the Gucci socialists and right-on brigade
I am off to put some savlon and plasters on my knuckles!

I am becoming more and more disappointed these days. I was hoping that we might just get a government that had the guts to defend our country and its values by standing up to the corrupt fellows over the water. That dream seems to be fading away now!
