More 'lessons to be learned' apparently

whilst watching the news at 6pm i thought about staying in bed and just pulling the covers over my head, then remembered that i have two kids that dependent on me to sort their food, clothes and to take care of them.
Shame some parents do not feel the same way and then when social services are involved they then still manage to fall through the cracks. Does in not occur to some people that kids who fall through the cracks in the system end up dead in some cases and this is not acceptable or right, it is far to important and not just a job or a case number.
About time the children came first.

You get the impression that with so many of the people employed in these associations are more interested in themselves than those they are supposed to be protecting. It is either that or gross incompetence.
