I can be smug, my insurance was £220, car tax is £30 for 12 months, tyres will last forever cos I don't stress them, Service was £170. It's great having a little car!

A little moan, tax and MOT are due. Hasn't helped that the other half has been moved onto monthly pay and that has messed things up a bit. Better budgeting would have helped, but there has been quite a bit going on recently that, that has taken a back seat.
On a more personal note, last year was filled with hospital appointments resulting in my epilepsy diagnosis, previously Mam had been hit by breast cancer. We were both hoping this year would be less eventful and would have a break from the place. Unfortunately, I took bad earlier this year and it's been test after test/appointments for the last few months. Then on top of that we have the fear that my Mam has bone cancer. Hopefully that won't be the case but something has been found and now it's a matter of waiting. Keeping everything crossed for her.
Added to that, work are being very awkward in terms of time off (holidays) for appointments and zero support. I know it's a business btw before anyone starts.
Not such a little moan afterall.

well if we're moaning..............today coming home, I met 2 absolute ****s on the road.
1. A tosser on a motorbike who thought tailgating me for a few miles was a wise move. I hate people on motorbikes! Real motorbikes, I like them but the ones that are a step-up from a moped but still don't look like the proper thing are always driven by ******* intent on killing themselves and lately I've felt like helping them on their mission. He didn't really seem to like it when he overtook me and the tables turned.
2. the 40miler Astra driver, we passed thru a 30, 60, 30, 40, 60 and can you guess this old *******s speed throughout the journey?

While directing traffic at an RTC between a car and the motorcycle of a deaf guy with no licence or insurance, an old boy was so busy rubber-necking that he nearly ran me over.
I'm sure that little snippet would have cheered several of you up!

bigsinky, how on earth will you get any sympathy - I can't imagine!
my tyres are down to 3mm all round and in october I'm spending 2 weeks driving round scotland - i reckon 2000 miles from Essex? - i think that's case for 4 new tyres
Lisa, you realise moaning is generally for people who have no excuse to whinge?! it sounds like you're in need of a big hug
oh yes, can anyone recommend a screen wash that doesn't smear when the wipers are on?
