**** me, the chap is an obvious enthusiast - i would rather buy from someone who cares about the cars like this chap does than some tarted up for sale model.

Absolutely. If I was in the market for one of these then this would certainly be looked at just for this reason.

Agreed - the perfect person to buy a Ferrari from (as I'm going through this process currently)
The LAST thing you look at with these cars is a car without history - they're prone to clocking and bad workmanship (and that's from the dealers!) and a great amount of deception.
This type of documentation would certainly warrant a look
Especially if it's proven.
