Angry Vulcan website

Not a happy bunny

got wind that the Vulcan was going to be at the Festival of Speed this

weekend.

Checked the Vulcan official website.. nothing, just preparation for

Waddington this weekend.

Checked again this morning.... nothing, no updates and no flight ops...

I didnt go to the FOS, as i go to the revival, but as im very close could

have popped over for a ringside seat so to speak...

Imagine how i felt to get a text from a colleague, to say it flew and was

amazing!!!

It makes me laugh & cry, the Vulcan trust are crying out for money to

keep the bird flying, but cant even post details of when and where she's

supposed to be. , which would ensure more people get to see her !!!

It was at Brize on Thursday, made a few low passes, then taxied past us while we were having a BBQ & copious amounts of beer in the Ground Radio!

Saw it twice this weekend.

Once over Northamptonshire around 3.15pm Saturday, and again near Silverstone at 3pm today.

I live near Littlehampton (20 mins from Goodwood) and saw it fly over yesterday about 1:30pm. Lovely looking plane. Not one cloud in the sky, sun was out, and it was really low down. What a beautiful looking plane.

To be fair to the team that organised it, the vulcan only gained its air worthiness certificate on saturday afternoon so I am guessing it was quite last minute

Low level is its natural element, even if it was initially designed for very high level.
