Capello to stay on....

I am not qualified to say whether he is any good or not, his record is reported to be outstanding though.
I think they ought to send him on an english speaking course for a start though. Not much good if you have to be an interpreter to work out what he is trying to say.
What I do hope is that he can find a set of proper players though, rather than the bunch of overpaid self important numpties that he was blessed with this time.

Strange that we kept Cappelo on after getting stuffed in the last 16 after just scraping through our group and Brazil's coach took "... full responsibility for Brazil's World Cup exit ..." .... Nowt to do with the £12m or so we would have had to pay Capello off with I suppose??

What happened to the 2 week period where the FA said that they would take time out to assess England's performance at ther world cup where they wouldn`t rush into anything before making a decision on the manager ?

I didn't think they would of got rid of him anyhow, just to pay someone millions of pounds and then watch them walk away,(even though the FA have wasted millions)will be interesting to see what capello does with these bunch of sissy boys..A bloody big kick up the **** would be a start..

...absolutely!!
And today's Germany result perhaps put the English performance in quite a different light. 4-0 against the best team in the World Cup so far?
To me this totally underlines the systemic failure in Team England that no manager could have fixed.

I don't think it matters who manages Eng-er-land. The problem here is that it's big business and the players are worked to death in their home teams too. Also looking at the players in some of the other World Cup teams they're half the age of the English.
Drop the players, bank some cash and spend a fraction on some wipper snapper school leavers who have the energy and speed to play..
