Question Classic road angel

Hi all
My classic road angel seems to be not able to pick up any sat' signal, it's ok going through it's self test but just sits there with three lines on it??? Any ideas???

Sometimes the satellites are poorly positioned for the device to pick up the required number of satellites for it to lock on. Happens around here sometimes until it eventually locks onto 4 satellites. Thats my Snooper incidentally.

If in any doubt send it back and get them to look at it, to replace all the internals is only about £35-00. Mines been back a few times now.

I'm sitting about 4 feet from the window living room , with 1 sat found and locked on,

Moving 2 feet into the kitchen get s me 4 found and 3 locked on mind you

it is a hand held GPS unit

Interestingly.. Most receivers only need 3 Sats for a lock.

4 Sats are needed for height calculations.

And if you have WAAS capability, it increases the accuracy to about 7ft, as

opposed to 35ft
