Doubt it'll be much use to you but the Wall Street Journal has an iPad app, have a feeling Wired does too. Think they are fairly large apps though.

What you really want is an ereading app that has/will have a newspapers and magazines section offering subscriptions to certain titles. Can't for the life of me think of who would have an app like that or who might offer something like that in the near future

Where did you find a 32GB 3G??

Been looking everywhere and that's the only one no one has any stock of. I could have bought any other model but the one that I want is the 32GB 3G

I think what he's looking for is basically a digital version of the in-print paper/mag, and I'm not sure if most titles do that. Yes they'll have websites and as we know, some of the big US boys have iPad specific versions of their sites using HTML5.

I'd be interested to see if someone like EVO would create a PDF of their issues and host it online and take a sub for this digital version. The real question is demand, will people want digital subs? I would not read a mag/newspaper on my desktop / laptop. I might read it on an eReader, as I read books there, but I'm not so sure. The iPad would be a pretty good device for visual heavy media, but file size could be an issue.

There is an app called PressReader which let's you download daily newspapers.

I use the Sun app which is pretty good and feeds my tabloid habit.

There's a couple of magazine apps but not too many, I would expect to see more in the next 6 months.

After 2 weeks usage on my iPad I love reading the daily paper on it, better than getting print all over your hands.

Yeah thats exactly what im after. How much are you paying for subscription at the moment for reading them?

Magazines like Auto Express would make me very happy indeed.
A friend mentioned press reader and this one http://www.zinio.com/ which looks perfect, just need more titles now.
