I was just saying the absolute opposite to my wife last night. I've watched it for years and last night was the first time I seriously considered giving it up.
I was pleased to read a while back that the new Eastenders boss will be getting rid of some of the duller characters, but what seems to be coming in to replace them could be even worse.
They've brought in some REALLY POOR pointless new characters in the past few weeks and months (with the exception of Ms. Lucker, of course
).
People like: Fatboy (
), Billie Jackson and his mum, Danny Mitchell, that new Nigerian family (
) & Denise Fox's sister (
). They still have some rubbish child actors too like Jordan, Ben and Abi.

She looks like a replacement double for a younger peggy mitchell. Load of **** recently, too busy filling the show with minorities, gays and gangster wannabes.
