just means that terry will be back as captain quicker seeing as gerrard has had a couple of niggles that will be used by an excuse by him when things aren't going well for the team. now do we have mr i don't want to play for england carragher or the one match bandit king partner terry in the centre or **** it lets play 3-5-2.

In past 2 world cups I believed that England had the talent to potentially win. This one I don't think we have a squad with enough match winning players to make something happen in the big games. Spain have a great team all over. Argentina have a good team featuring the worlds best player Brasil just do what they do and thats before we get to the Italian team who I think are weaker on paper than England but who have mastered the art of dirty play and will probably 1-0 their way to the semis.

No we can declare a replacement up to 24 hours before our first match kicks off I believe.
(Squad is 23 btw)
Hence the pics on the news just now of Dawson getting on a plane to SA.
Anyway I don't think it will be as much of a loss as we thought as Rio hasnt had that much 1st team action this season. Therefore I think he wont be as fit as he should and could possibly get injured during a game hence leaving us with a squad of only 22.

LOL, Engand's preparations going well.
Lost Becks already, two lacklustre warm up games and now Ferdinand gets injured on the training pitch. What a professional outfit England are LOL!
Looking forward to them coming home after three games and everyone can throw those stupid flags back in the draw for another 4 years.

Unfortunately accidents happen , England have to and will get on with it -Thats what they do.
They will win their group and go on . They will be very difficult to beat .
