Ebay Timewasters
What a frustrating place to sell. Got a great price for my Iphone 32GB. Then the buyer decides that he can't pay. So 5 days of trying to sell down the drain and have to wait for cancellations fees now.

I've sold a few phones on ebay and its just full of scammers. Luckily I have only been mucked around once.
I think I will just use Mazuma mobile as its a lot less hassle.
They say I can have £127 for my HTC touch HD.

If he reneges on the deal all the costs should be down to him

Yes, in theory, but you try extracting the cash in practice.
I've avoided Ebay since they started insisting sellers have to take Paypal. Given the exhorbitant fees and the fact that they can hold on to your money until the buyer has left positive feedback (wtf?!), I'd rather take an IOU or magic beans.
Seller can't even leave buyers negative feedback any more, so they're practically inviting buyers to p*ss you about

The other rubbish thing about eBay I discovered recently is that if you set an auction with a buy now price (that you pay extra for)... as soon as a bid is placed even if it is for only 99p the buy now disappears... WTF is that all about?
