Lancaster bomber at Southend airport.

This plane is due to take off at 11.20 tomorrow (Thurs) morning.
So if you would like to see them start up four Merlin engines from cold and watch it take off, you know where to be.

The BBMF is based at Coningsby, always has been as far as I can remember. Were the Hurricane and Spitfire there as well with the Lanc.
Certainly a very special sight and sound when those Merlins are running. Looks like you will be seeing all that in about 5 minutes or so
