Default Getting dicked about on Ebay.

I managed to buy a private plate T3 *** from Ebay nearly two weeks ago and the seller is dicking around with paperwork saying he doesn't know how to transfer it into my name.

I won this plate thats on retention for the bargin price of £51 and was delighted at the price as I've never seen a single letter single number availble for under £150 now.

He has now said he's pissed off trying to get through to the DVLA to see how to transfer it and wants to refund my money, as I've already had the plates made up I'm not really wanting this I want my plate that I entered into a sale with.

What do I do? Ebays getting a joke now.

I reckon the price has pissed him off and he's trying to wangle out of it as he will get the retention fee back when it expires at the end of July.

I don't think he gets the retention fee back, if it's been on for a year then he has to pay £25 (i think) to extend it for another year

I think the change of owner is £25 and to put on retention is about £80.

i think change of owner is £25, to put the put the plate on retention it is £105 £80 for taking the plate off and £25 for the first years retention, to put a retained plate on a vehicle dose not cost anything although you will loose that years retention fee, to transfer the plate from one vehicle to another is £80, hope this helps.
