Default Which mobile ?

I'm currently with Vodafone and my contract is due to end so i'm looking to upgrade. I've currently got a Samsung Omnia which I think is a terrible phone ! I've got 600 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited email and internet for £30 a month.

Vodafone have offered me an iphone 3G on the same tariff i'm on at the moment for £35 a month for 24 months. I've tried getting them to drop the price to £30 a month but they won't do it on the iphone.

They said if I want any other phone than the iphone they will do a deal on the price.

So is there any other phones that are worth having instead of the iphone ?

Sorry, just trying to get some opinions. I don't know much about phones !

Vodafones attitude to me was that people don't normally try and get the iphone at a reduced cost, they just pay whatever they are offered !

I've been given the option of keeping my Omnia for £15 a month but I hate it to be honest.

It just doesn't seem to be able to do anything as it should and the touch screen is terrible,I have to virtually thump it when texting etc

Logic dictates that you get that offer.

If you get the IPhone for £35 over two years = £480.

So just get what ever phone you like for a up to that amount.
