I see that Adrian Chiles has gone from the travesty that is the One Show to a big job at ITV. Main breakfast presenter, all the big ITV football.

I am astonished that this totally talentless man has moved on to such big things (even if it is ITV). What do people see in him.

He is all down to earth blokey and it is all a total pretence.

Do you know him personally then Trout? Seems like a decent chap to me? The fact he makes what he does look easy and laid back is why he is so good.

Why do I need to know him personally?

He is a TV 'personality' and I do not find him at all authentic. To me he grates with the faux mateyness.

I felt a bit of sympathy for him in a way because Chris Evans was slagging him off unfairly and then pinched a day's worth of his show off him. Seemd pretty selfish to me when Evans has got all that morning show, having also pinched an hour's worth of Sarah Kennedy's show as well.

Don't find Evans to be a patch on Wogan anyway-not in the same class.

Quite funny that approx 2 years ago itv offered him 6 mil a year and now he has only got a mear million.

I have just recently hit 40 years old but miss Wogan and find Evans' perpetual chippy chirpy cheerfulness a real drain. Shaun Keaveny on 6 music is good in the mornings.

i like Chiles - as 'darts' said - because he is so good, he makes presenting look easy
