objections to a great big bt pole outside my house - advice
hi
just looking for some advice on what to put in the letter
in the last week BT have stuck up a great big telephone pole outside my house that goes right to the level of the attic! (3 storeys)
they did it during the day when everyone was out so didnt have a chance to ask or say anything..
they have a notice on writing a letter to object to it.
just wondering what would be good objections other than its right up against our hedge and it front of the house and every window you look out of you see the dam ugly brown pole.
any help would be appreciated
cheers

If you do a search on here you can find a thread where I successfully got a lamp post moved because it was directly in our line if sight. It was really simple, we just calmly explained why we objected and offered a compromise (ie shift it a couple of feet so it's not in our view.)
My neighbours and I have just ( today ) won an appeal against a mobile phone mast 80 yards from our properties, in the middle of an industrial estate.
It cab be done. Good luck to the OP.

We have a BT pole in our garden. When we moved there, the pole was in the most stupid place. We contacted BT and they came out and moved it right up against the fence.
That was a few years ago, so not sure how helpful they are now.
Apparently, we can claim wayleaves, but it is only worth about £10 a year
