Im after a set of Bi fold iron drive gates for my drive and ive had a few quotes so far - do these sound about right

1 local firm quoted me £550 painted and supplied but not fitted
another local firm quoted me £625 fitted and powder coated

or do I opt for these ebay ones and fit them myself cost would be £400 for the gates then £40 for the posts delivered

the design is basically the same as in the pic as is the metal thickness written in the advert etc

gap size is 11ft x 4 ft rising to 5 ft in the middle of the arch 2 posts will be needed for the gates

Anyone know anyone else who makes to order - also they must be bi fold and in metal.

means they "swing" both ways -- I wouldn't worry about it Les, we are both to old

Are you sure that you actually mean "wrought iron" and not just "metal" (mild steel) gates, 'cos i visited a blacksmith in Burnley (http://www.rourkes.co.uk) a year or so ago (for a demonstration on metal bashing) and wrought was seriously expensive!!!

Bi-Fold means that they swing and fold.

I thought they were all wrought iron Im not fussed TBH the gates just need to be Bi fold
