So the Queen has flown from Windsor to Buck House and Gordon has driven over to dissolve Parliament. Half the world's media is watching.

Why couldn't Flash just call her on her iPhone or use the iDissolve app to shut up shop and get on with it. Would have saved a few thousand out of the public coffers!

Since it's GB's last few days as pm I think he should have taken a leisurely drive to Windsor may be with a sandwich lunch and sit in the park on a nice day like this.

On the other hand, the Queen has recently travelled using public transport in both aircraft and the train without any special arrangements and saved thousands by doing so.
