The only thing interesting is the unfathomable subplot behind the whole series tbh
Some thing to do with sam tyler / her husband presumably

Enjoyed last nights episode. It's left an awful lot of questions unanswered which will have me glued for the rest of the series.
Really, really wish I'd seen Life on Mars to start with and get the full jist. Only started watching from series 2 of Ashes to Ashes.

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing it back again of course, but Mrs Leslie and I are still a bit puzzled about what is really going on in the background. We may watch the recording again to try to work it all out.
That "faceless copper" is a good bit more of a hard nut than he looks!

Couple that to an ending that kept you guessing and you had TV about as good as you can get it. Pity so much of the rest of the BBC's output is so poor when they can make stuff like that.
Watch it, you will not be disappointed.

As good as Ashes to Ashes is it is a poor relation to Life on Mars. The chemistry between Sam Tyler and Gene Hunt was absolutely spot on and the subplot that ran through the series was just enough to keep you glued to the big picture as well as any single episode's storyline.

Blimey, is it that time already? I knew S3 was coming soon. Off to grab a copy and have a watch. Please tell me that she doesn't scream in this one, as that is one thing that seriously narks me off.

Was a great 1st episode. Thats my next 7 Fri nights viewing sorted!! I'm sure the dark distant past of Genes will not be as clear cut as it initially seems. Looks like it going to tie Sam Tyler in amongst it somewhere though! Looking forward to the rest of the series!!
I liked the two sided-ness of the D&C's character too!
