Default Harry Brown

Watched this film today (sneaky day off, no kids around) and really enjoyed it. A vigilante story is hardly original but Caine really pulls it off.

Its also got one of the best delivered lines I've heard all year

'you didn't maintain your weapon son......bang!'

I liked Harry Brown as me and the Mrs watched it rented from Blockbusters on night with a takeaway. Was a little disappointed though, maybe I was expecting more of a story or more vigilante stuff. Just seemed to take a while getting into the nitty gritty and then the film seemed to whizz through and end.

6/10 from me, but Caine did play a belting role.

Just watching it for the first time now - very good.

In the style of Shane Meadows if not quite as good.

I thought it was a bit silly. I mean Caine was good as always but the 'violant yoofs' were painted so one-dimensionally and stereotypically as to make the whole film stupid, especially as it tried to be so earnest.

At least the Death Wish films were sexy!

It might have been better if it wasn't green the whole feckin' way through. And if it had moved along a bit quicker.

I disagree entriely. The kids were a strikingly accurate portrayal of what a lot of 'youth gangs' are like in urban areas.

One dimensional yes, because that is what these little ***** are.

The sooner Sharia Law comes to the UK the better, it will at least sort those little *******s out
