Politics Subforum
Mods,
Don't you think its time there was a Politics subforum or even its own forum to keep all the constant labour, tory etc etc etc drivel posts out of here?
What does everyone else think?

There was one, once, called Current World Events ..... it was fantastic - but the old webmaster didn't like the content too much ..... it was a hot furnace of attitude.
Fight Club is where it could be expressed now ... but only paying members and the special ones can access it.
So, in the meantime it sits in NSR - which is its rightful place.
There are plenty of non-political threads in the many, many other forums you will find dotted about SN.

I think mate that most people can't even be bothered to reply to your post. Only four people have entered your poll

Might not have to read them, but picking the odd threads out inbetween that aren't people harping on about how wonderful labour or the tories are, and feeling the need to post a new thread every 5 mins with each latest snippet that appears on the News websites .....

From a personal point of view I think that a proliferation of sub-fora (sp?) would just confuse people and dilute the posts.
From a Mod point of view: Not to mention the subsequent increase in RTMs for "he's in the wrong forum!" calls
The big issue with politics is that it fundamentally divides people and it's very easy to descend into a flame war. Personally I *like* healthy debate and there have been times when a well reasoned argument has swayed (and changed) my view... is this more about wanting to have the freedom for a "free and frank exchange of views"?
