Mike Ashley...
... are you kiddin' like Ashley?!
Mike Ashley craves reconciliation with Newcastle's dissatisfied fans | Football | guardian.co.uk
I'm sure the majority of you laughed your **** off when we went down last year, but howay!
Llambias: "Enough's enough. It frustrates me because we know what we've done behind the scenes and what Mike's committed to financially. We'd like to be able to go out on the town after a win – we always used to – and enjoy the crowd"
Enough's enough yourself your pair of pr*cks! We aren't even safely back to the Premiership and you're gunning for forgiveness after spending a couple a million from your fat wallet you fat tw*t!

I think we would be better off with out the ******!! I mean, remember when Keegan was back and he brought that **** Dennis Wise in and he had a say in who Keegan got to sign!!!! And Ashley refuses to let the manager sign players over 26 years old because they want the players with re-sale value!!!!! You don't buy players to sell on ffs!!! You buy them to help to make a team successful!!!

Aye, the only thing they're doing right at the minute is putting money in, but even then they think we're daft and we'll just say "oh well done fat man, thanks"... no, no, we all know he's purely for the business as he'll put in a few mil here and there and once we're up the club will be worth a sh*t load more and we'll be back on the market for the 4th (or 5th?? WHO FOOKIN' KNOWS!) time in the space of 2 years!
Please Mr Ashley, if you own a Subaru and are somehow on this forum, please leave our club alone...
... if you do i'll GIVE you a set of lexus rear lights that i've just taken off of my Impreza...
... So that you can shove them up Llambias' ****!

Hmm, I'm sure you do... maybes when he finally sells us next season for massive profit as we're a Premiership outfit once he'll not have to look far down the road for a bargain club in a lower division...
... Sunderland might fit the bill?? :P

I think you might find that Ashley has sunk more than a 'couple of million' (which is far more than pretty much most Geordies will see in their lifetime).
He has sunk a couple of hundred million and all the ungrateful muppets up north can do is hold it against him.
Face facts, Newcastle are NOT a big club, they are an average club that will just about hang on to Premiership membership assuming they get back there.
I read a very telling article a few years ago about Newcastle. It is not the owners, or the managers that have ruined Newcastle - it is the fans. Unrealistic, euphoric ambition at the appointment of every new player or manager or owner. Only to be hit by the mid-table end of season reality - and then he baying for blood begins...
If Newcastle won a trophy they would be in serious trouble as the last person who saw the trophy cabinet key left two generations ago!

Yes, you're right, its the fans that turn up 40'000+ strong week in week out for a championship side that have sunk the club... well done.
Think you'll find if you get your facts straight that Ashley has actually admitted to his mistakes and has admitted that we are where we are because of his decisions... the thing that gets the fans that even though he admits it, he keeps making them, yes he has done his bit this season, but does it make up for the damage he has admittedly done, NO.
... and FYI this thread was never about Newcastle being a big club, no doubt whoever it is that you support, i'm 100% sure the fans of that club would be as loyal if they dropped a division or two.
Get over yourself mate, you're a joke running your mouth like that

AND! Just so you know, our trophy cabinet key was last seen not all that long ago when we won the INTER TOTO CUP (Wooo!)... albeit the key was a tad rusty it worked just fine, and it will again after our open top bus parade of the Championship trophy

The best thing for Newcastle was getting relegated - there has been more stability in the last season than there has been for years. I just hope that when they return to the premiership that they can capitalise on this stability.
As for Ashley's mistakes - like all owners he has made a few. I think his worst was bringing Keegan back. At the end of the day Keegan never delivered as a manager, and to bring him back after such a long period out of management was a foolhardy gesture to appease the fickle fans.
Anyway 6-1 today, you should be happy!

Couldn't agree with you more mate, relegation is the wake up call we needed, and it helped get rid of the 'big names' that needed gone. And keegan, yea, again a big name that NUFC signed just to try and get bums on the seats (like the owen fiasco) and what ashley didn't get was that there would be a crowd whether or not we had big names. The confidence we've got as a team now is what we've needed for many a season. And yes 6-1, well done lads, 8 points clear and game in hand
