The Dross forum?
I see we have a dross forum.
A fine idea me thinks.
I gather it is the kingdom/pond of SN's very own "Hurtle the Turtle"?

Thanks to the moderators who are giving SN an enema: and banishing that rubbish to where it belongs.

What the hell?
Thats a relic from the SDB days during the muppet "clear up".
Still, a worthy place for such posts, in addition to our sin bin

A forum for those who just can't help but whinge, moan, complain about "the authorities", bicker, back-bite, or just be plain nasty - basically the misfits. To save them dragging the rest of us down, we've given them an environment of their own!
We already had that, and it was a great success.

Take 'Puff The Tragics' Mod-Wand off him then, and we may just get back to some form of fun again!

If a thread has transcended the rules, why not just have the strength of character to ban it and to say why. All members could learn from that too.

Because a certain member is an ****. He continues to be an **** and I predict he will be an **** long into the future. Putting the threads there treats them with the disrespect they deserve.

Is it right to exclude or ban a member for his opinions if they dont transcend the rules of the forum?

I think you mean "transgress", Leslie, and he does transgress the rules of the forum, constantly. To whit, trolling.

Thank you so much for your correction, yet another candidate to take over from the SN English teacher! Actually my term could be used in its literal sense but yours is admittedly closer.
Can you explain just what you mean by trolling then? Does that include stating your own opinion even if others don't agree?

The deliberate use of words/phrases/comments that are designed to incite a reaction which can be taken in context as being solely for that purpose.
