but theres more than one way to work out whos who than using a scanner that is just one step ( at least) too far in terms of personal invasion.

I would have thought the solution was quite simple, one queue for black and asians, and one queue for whites.

Isn't it really all a fuss about nothing? Planes are very safe, safer than cars in fact. Very few crash & even less get blown up. Seems a waste of time & money to me.
