Her indoors bought one last week, the USB drivers don't work so can't upload pics to the phone..... and she can't get the bluetooth to connect either.

I've got one and it works well, much better than the LG Cookie it's replaced. When texting the touch screen keys are bigger than a cookie therefore fewer mistakes.
I've had no problems linking it to my laptop and the camera takes decent pic's.

Not a bad phone for the money. We sell quite a few. Dunx, the driver issue may be a teething problem with your operating system. Try going to samsung and seeing what you can find.
As for the bluetooth you could have a fault.
Not a bad phone for the money. Good camera, mp3 player, good touch screen. Will not be as quick as an iPhone, but it is a fraction of the price

I have it and love it. Ok it's trying to copy some of the iphone features and doesn't quite pull it off, but the key features that count work well. I like the landscape or portrait screen and full kboard for messaging for example. Btooth is fine and no issues over usb either.

i had the ordinary tocca and it's crap! it kept dropping calls for no reason, the touchscreen is no where near the iphones quality and they seemed to hide things under headings you wouldn't expect them to be under.
other than that it never failed to not work even when i went in the sea with it! i just popped the battery and sim out and left it to dry out, worked first go when i put it back together. dropped it loads of times as well and apart from the battery coming out it took everything in it's stride, built like the old ericssons used to be!!

But my signal is totally, totally crap.
Not sure whether it's a T-Mobile problem or the 'phone.

I had the Tocco Ultra and wasn't a fan. Unresponsive touchscreen and slow in general. It's basically a fashion accessory with a good camera. Texting was a nightmare because it was so fiddly, and the whole phone just annoyed me the entire time I had it.

- Also battery life is inferior, despite specs saying it was supposed to be better than my last phone.
- 3G a bit iffy. Browser/processor too slow to take any real advantage of it - Touch screen near impossible to use for WAP (can't even use a stylus ).
- Signal iffy
- Call quality is muffled for the other person if you don't speak LOUDLY like a 80's yuppie.
- Photo browser annoying (especially the tilt filture to go between pics - you can't disable it either)
- Fake call - annoying as hell, no option to disable it, how the hell do you turn it off?!
- Doesn't always ring, even when someone calls me, so I get missed calls without realising.
- Widget locations reset whenever its powered down (which your somtimes forced to as it periodically crashes or refuses to get any signal).
- Addressbook doesn't sync/transfer correctly with vista (mixes up the name/nickname fields).
- Keypad really really needs an up/down/left/right pad to overcome the touch screen's shortcommings
- can't seem to change the screensaver images (flowers, candles, and other girly things).
- no torch option (every phone with a LED flash should have this)
- Residuals are poor (seems the phone recyclers don't want them)
Pros:
- Camera picture quality very good, superior to my previous SE cybershot (which was supposed to be a camera-orientated phone, yet the camera was rubbish).
- Doesn't crash as much as a SE
- Looks nice
- Slim dimensions
- universal USB charging+docking socket

Mines full strength anywhere on t-mobile.
Agree, although a pointless feature imo.
Who cares, put it on ebay some mug always pays over the odds for phones

Blue; Not for sale yet though, I need to find a suitable replacement phone first - I sold all my old phones.
Funny, I looked at the C905, but my prior phone was a c902 which was rather flakey as well. As such I had my fill of SE and switched. Had a play with a Samsung Jet and that appears to be improved somewhat, although I need to play with one more to be convinced.

Well.....
Mine runs W7 and that's 64 bit so didn't expect it to work.....
HTPC runs Vista, up to date, etc., but still had USB driver problems, support was up-dated on Xmas eve and is apparently sound, ( should I flash the firmware ? ).
She's had no joy with bluetooth to her lappy (Vista...)
Not My Problem

My advice would be to spend a little more and buy the Nokia 5530. I got one for my daughter from CPW for XMAS. It is very good, and gets good reviews.
It has a brilliant display, and the WiFi internet is excellent.
The Tocco and Cookie both get very mixed reviews...

The Nokia 5530 is a touch screen phone I think......we were looking for a slider with a good camera as we use it for family snaps as well
Bioforger......what's the camera like on the Tocco Ultra??
The daughter fancies a SE Satio........problem is I donated my kidneys to Roger Clark Motorsport the last time I was there so I have no body parts to sell LOL
