In places like the UK they discover that although they are allowed to stay legally, they are not entitled to work.
A lack of education, and not being able to speak English, can limit job prospects for some Roma migrants, leaving them no choice but to work in the black market.
so they can come to the UK but not work legally - the only option is benefits then, they come to the UK with their hands out with no opportunity to contribute to the economy. They will require housing, medical care, schools which will cost the community they decide to live in.
I am not suprised they where chased out.

Romainians, in my experience, seem to know it all. But, they don't. Well they certainly didn't know their leader was planning to build the second largest building on earth after The Pentagon, did they?
