Nope - just found it on Cool Iris and thought it was interesting. Lots of peeps on here are into their aviation stuff

just giving back to the community

A truly outstanding aircraft and was a world beater of course. Even the Americans gave up trying to produce an SST. We should be proud of the British input to the design. Very clever to produce a supersonic wing form which also generated high lift at low speeds for landing.

It is not generally known that at one time the US was seriously considering making a "super" Vulcan which would have been bigger and supersonic. They decided to go ahead with the B1 instead.
