Default How low did you go?

As it was supposed to be the coldest night in Britain for years. How low did you go?

OK - I am relying on the BMW external thermometer - but all three cars seem to show the same temp so I am assuming a degree of precision.

It was -12.5C here last night near Stamford Bridge, York!

At about 8.30 last night (in Wolves) it was -7.

Was not impressed this morning as my thermostat got stuck on night mode, and it was 14 degrees in the house when I got up! It's usually a comfortable 20!

-12 On the outskirts of Lanark (McRaes Hometown)
Got up this morning & Bruno had his bed on top of him like a duvet, so he's been given a couple of extra blankets.

-8 here in Wrexham.

I tell what's annoying though, getting into the car this morning and finding the drivers car mat was sheet ice and literally nearly falling out of my car, luckily still holding on to the drivers door

I don't mind snowy roads when it is really cold as the snow is dry and you get quite good grip.

Now the temperature is rising and the sun is out - it might say -4C but is the very slippy now!!!

Cool

-11 in Mold, -16.5 in the village a few miles up the road.

I like the snow, but I'm sick of the really low temps now.

My GT3 turns over and then stops dead for about 3-4s before slowly cranking then firing! The pause is very scary!

Not driving it though - the snow is up past the sills! And the snow on the roads would rip the splitter off!
