Question Evacuating ones nasal cavity in to the kitchen sink

One nostril at a time ,

The girlfriend is calling me up, disgusted ( this is the old boy shes caring for )

im undecided , hes 89 afterall - cant really get outside that easy

however slurping from the milk container and then stuffing it back in the fridge as he does apparently would be a definite

Not sure what the big deal is. Is it your girlfriend's house or his?

Well it is his of course

...Shes not allowed to leave one drip of water unmopped anywhere adjacent to a tap for fear of staining/limescale - as far as he knows shes strip washed (as he does) for the last 3 weeks

She strips while she washes? How much does she charge?

Seriously though, if it's his house he can do whatever he likes. Caring for the elderly is difficult, what you've described is quite tame compared to what she might be exposed to in the future.

Oh dear. Time of the month

As to the OP, it's disgusting, but it's his own home and he can be as revolting as he wants

Can't see how she can get him to change his ways. He won't be able to see anything wrong in it in his own house. Its as unpleasant as these sporting types who spit all over the place. I remember an elderly gardener who used to do that all over the garden whenever he felt like it-horrible habit!

As long as its only him drinking the milk you can only let him get on with it.

my grandad used to do this into the sink, years and years ago when he was alive.i used to hate going round to see him cos as you can imagine, when i was sat there looking at the pile of pots in the sink that hadnt been washed and thinking to myself god i hope he hasn't done one all over them pots, cos at somepoint in the day he will be asking me if i wanted a cuppa tea or something to eat.just the thought of it makes me feel sick.
