Being TopGears biggest critic I have to say apart from the odd bit of kack that was without a doubt the best episode of the series!

Best of the series, but far from the best episode. Format has just got old for me. Hope they manage to find their roots again soon, and this was a step in the right direction

Would love to see how they filmed it etc, should have more episodes like that.

As I said earlier - I was climbing the back of the chair and farting in c# when Clarkson was edging along the death road.

My hands were sweating watching that. I am massively frightened of heights so that didn't help.

The only thing that kept me going was knowing he was still alive.

Good episode.

I can accept that TopGear is an entertainment programme more than a car programme, I cannot accept ****e entertainment which is what TopGear has become. Tonight was top-notch entertainment whether or not cars were involved.

ending was weak with the toyota rolling, but the rest was good, especially having to turn back at 17000 ft....

Never mind. They will soon tire of the persistant negative comments and not bother anymore.

Everyone will be happy then

What? Instead of The X Factor?

To be fair it probably isn't far off the best show of the 2000s in some ways.

Personally Dexter, The Sopranos and Grand Designs do it for me, but Top Gear is pretty good overall. Watched the Polar Special again today which is a pretty amazing piece of TV.

Loved it and I would put it up there with the Vietnam, almost.

Richard Hammond looked genuinely scared of those bugs in his motor.
