Anyone know of any jobs welding/plating?
ANYWHERE in the UK?
Construction, maintenance, plant etc etc?
My eldest lad is a qualified welder/plater, but has been working in Holland for the last ten months after losing his job on the local works due to redundancy.
He is fed up with being abroad, fed up with living in an hotel, fed up with being away from his mates and in limbo, so to speak, and, most of all, fed up with the way the English lads are treated by the Dutch bosses.
He applies for jobs here in the UK, but working over there, doesn't get any interviews.
His CV is pretty good.
