Default Which one out of these ?

Have about seven grand to spend. Want a soft top. Narrowed it down to either a clk 320 auto convertible on about a 2000 reg. Or a Porsche boxster 2.5 manaul.

What you rekcon ? The merc will be more laid back more juicy but more refined.

The boxster is faster. Sounds better. More engaging to drive etc. I'm swaying towards the Porsche.

Any thorghts ?

Scoff all you want about the plucky Dacia, Alain Prost is driving one in the Andros Trophy series.

Mmm, £7K porsche boxter could cost you £4K in repairs alone. At that mileage / age, crank seal issues are very possible and were huge money to fix. Not too keen on the merc either, quite old looking now.

Have you considered :-
M3 evo
E46 330 conv
Honda S2000
Saab 93 conv

SBK
