It is ok to say it 'may' be man flu, as no man has ever dies from man flu.

Are you sure it's not seasonal flu? The old man had it a few weeks ago and it really messed him up.

its not bad enough to be a flu, i have control of my bodily functions, its just a bad cold

My 5yr old has come down with something. High temp of 40 drops to between 38.5 - 39.3 after calpol. Nasty chesty cough, sleepy, runny nose, aches etc. The website says its Swine flu but how do you really know.
He is asthmatic and has an app for the swine flu jab, but now I'm thinking, If the website says its swine flu then will he be protected against getting it again and in which case won't need the vaccine I am dubious about him having ????

Does that make sense ??? Can I go to the GP and demand they see if he actually does have it and will be protected ???

By The way, although it sounds like it I'm not going out my mind. Just find it so annoying you can't trust people who are supposedly looking out for you................ Now I have been on the web site and registered my son on there he has probably been added to the list of people having had the swine flu where in fact he probably hasn't had it at all. Makes you wonder out of the thousands of people a week that supposedly have it how many actually do.......

Register your interst for some tamiflu etc etc ( you might even get upgraded to a jab)

well as it was my day off yesterday, i rang up work thismorning to tell them I won't be in as i'm drugged up and unfit to drive plus i'm just plain and simply beat. Now even though on Sunday and Monday they knew i was ill and getting worse as the days went on, I got threatened with my job if i didn't come in. Well **** 'em I'm staying put!
