Gladiators
Now i know its sad but hey, everyone has their weakness but i like this show, well, used to when it 1st came out, the latest one was a bit crap, full of overmuscled glads with underweighted contestants, anyhoo, watching the latest lot, the old glads vs the new glads is embarrasing, why do it, i mean, they dont even compare, the old/original glads are crap compared to these new ones and get whooped at ALL the events, its annoying
bit like comparing the opel manta rally car against the impreza rally car
steriods nowadays are much more potent than back 12 yrs ago

Remember going to see Gladiators being filmed, first time round. Brother-in-law knew someone who worked on the show. That 1 hour program took 5-6 hours to film. Lots of nothing going on interspersed with someone saying "this is where we cut to adverts so everyone make noise." Cue 30 seconds of screaming followed by more nothingness whilst they set up the next contest.
Was a semi-final iirc, and was disappointed the number of times they re-ran events due to some technical problem until the contestant they wanted to win eventually did.
Total fix.

I was a stand-by contestant so did all the show training and training on the games with the main contestants but was only gonna get on the show if someone broke a bone or something and couldn't continue.
Spent most of the time watching the action from the wings and chatting to the Gladiators backstage - who were all very friendly btw.
