Fecking Freeview re-fecking-tune messages
How do I turn off the messages that have been appearing for the past 2 weeks warning me that I will need to re-tune and now telling me I should have re-tuned.
Presumably these messages are for retards who are unable to operate their TV correctly - So where's the "I'm not a fecking retard - stop reminding me of this ****" option on my settings ?

Mine stopped, then came back. Looked for a menu option to stop messages and one TV had it, but the others didn't.
Have you lot noticed 'ITV2+1' is now mis-named just 'ITV', and is duplicated as an un-named channel too Still **** all to watch on it though
And whilst we're on that, how come the 9th rate repeats channel gets a '+1' channel and the primary 'ITV1' doesn't ? Surely that would be more useful ?

ITV1+1 is due, but for somereason they didnt coincide its launch with the retune. Youd expect that theyd have introduced the channel with a 'coming soon' screen at least, youldnt you?

Not impressed.
. No it hasn't. 27 now doesn't work, but does show the EPG, 33 is still Eurosport and scrambled.
After the first retune we lost Ch5 altogether.
All from Winter Hill BTW. God help the old and stupid.

Reminds me, i have still not retuned the box at work, or the TV at home
The TV at work usually has DAVE on when i am in, the young un watches E4 and i would assume that both of them channels are still the same, as i don't recall them being missing.
At home, the only thing i have watched recently is the channel 4 news when i get in from work, and the usuall "everybody loves raymond/fraiser/" fest that is on in the morning before i go to work.

I'm at a bit of a loss, we have two identical tv's in the house, one upstairs, the other down, both have built in freeview. The upstairs tv gets perfect reception, the downstairs one does'nt. ITV 1 amongst others keeps pixelating and the sound is distorted, some days are worse than others. It happened on the previous TV when we had a seperate digibox. We had the arieal checked and the engineer said signal strengh was fine. Incidently analogue works fine for ITV?
Since the re-tune Channel 5 is now giving me this problem, and yes I too keep getting those darn messages!
