Default London Hotels - Recommendations

Hi

I am taking the wife and nipper to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, and probably to some other Christmas Markets around London (Southbank, Covent Garden etc)

Just looking for a nice hotel that doesn't cost the earth and is nicely located for Winter Wonderland.

Dont really want to spend much for that £150 per night.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Cheers

I stayed in the "West India quays marriot" and it was excellent. Its in canary wharf and its right next to a tube so only 4 stops and your at hyde park and there is loads of restaurants just outside plus a shopping centre close by for the missus If I went to london again I would stay in this hotel

Recently stayed with the family at the London Eye/County Hall Premier Inn and was pleasantly surprised.
Clean, comfortable and excellent staff.
Even had proper bacon instead of normal transparent "London" bacon.

Was a good central point to get around town.

Haven't stayed there, but the Mandarin Oriental hotel on Hyde Park has a very cool cocktail bar - bound to impress

Not sure what price you can get, but a few years back I stayed at the Raddison Edwardian in Covent Gardens and the price was goo for the great hotel and service. Pretty much smack bang where you want to be.
