What is the best position?
Is there a right and a wrong was of positioning a dressing table so that you make use of the natural light?
I am using a spare room to put my dressing table in but the light is a problem. The bedroom window is south facing so the sun is there most of the day when it is out so where should the DT be? The ceiling light is central. I want to use the DT to do hair and make up so i need the best light but i cant get it right.
Suggestions?

i know this sounds stupid sara but you might want to invest in a daylight bulb. my girlfriend swears by them. in the bathroom they give off a natural light whiteness, more like daylight. she find that if she puts her makeup on in artificial light it looks ok but when she steps outside it's a "holy ****" moment.
try Daylight Bulbs.
I am used to doing risk assessment ergonomic crap for the office i work in and one of the things is anti glare stuff with the big monitors the staff use. special flouresent light and desks strategically positioned.
