The welsh police must be so proud
I know this kind of lunacy is not confined to wales, but they do have a reputation of being jobsworths ..

BBC NEWS | UK | Wales | Blind man describes arrest
Daniel Duckfield from Narbeth, in Pembrokeshire, complained to Dyfed-Powys Police after cars parked illegally on the pavement forced him and his guide dog to walk along a busy road.
However Mr Duckfield was arrested, put in a police cell and cautioned by police after threatening to let down the tyres of three of the cars when no police arrived on the scene.

I thought it was against the law to park opposite double solid lines in the centre of the road anyway.
What on earth are the coppers thinking to put him in the cells when he had not actually committed an offence but had gone home despite what he said about letting tyres down. I thought you had to actually commit the offence before being arrested!
