Subaru Watch
In keeping with the guidance provided by the man I thought I would start another Subaru related thread in NSR.
Breitling do watches for Bentley, and very nice they are too; G-Schock do watches for gay surfers; who do you think would make an ideal watch for the Subaru brand?

As it seems to follow "B-reitling for B-entley" and "G-Shock for G-ays" then I guess as we're looking for a Japanese brand that offers reasonable quality and performance for a reasonable price it should be...

I would like to see DOXA do a Subaru model, but rather than use their brilliant orange, use Subaru blue.
Would the watch have to run fast though ?
And have EGS and maff issues ?
It would definately need a 'He' blow off valve though.

I've got a Subaru watch, bought 2nd hand off here for £45. Not quite like the one in the pic above, but similar.
All it says is Prodrive on the back, it also says Japan and MOVT

How very dare you, there has been many a night when my driving seemed impaired by what can only be described as a mildly bright time shaped light. Switched the switch and it was like a whole new driving experience, now to dim my dials and it'll be gravy.

That means that it has a Japanese movement. A friend of mine bought one during a moment of weakness: its a Sekonda (but, as Ive already said: not a good Russian Sekonda).

I bought it because its stainless steel, blue face, tells the date and looks OK. And my last watch broke so I needed a replacement. And since I'm into my 9th year of Subaru ownership then why not.
If I had known how big it was I doubt I'd have bought it. Its a bit scratched now but it still works!

Who needs a watch in these days...
Every room has a clock, the PC's show the time, the fax does too !
I play a game at work where I "guess" the time.... I'm usually about 2 minutes out !
Close enough in my lazy laid-back world.
dunx
P.S. Suunto GPS thingy for MTB-ing round the North Yorks Moors.
