There are no mandatory jabs required but it is always best to check your quacks and make sure there are no clauses in your holiday insurance.

Hep A/C / Typhoid / & bring your polio & tetanus up to date

malaria tablets are / were only required if you go into the desert areas, or lower down than Aswan

You need about 3-4 weeks for the jabs to take effect
