Question Hoover HNWF 7148

Have one of these washer-driers. The buttons on the control panel have pushed back through the front panel. All still work but I can't work out how to get into it to fix it.

The manual tells me how to clean the filter, wipe the door, etc. Does anyone know where I can view a guide to getting into the machine, as I'm sure the repair itself is dead easy.

take the lid off - looking at the lid, the plastic strip at the back has three nut headed screws, 7mm, holding it in place - remove screws, remove plastic strip, the lid now slids backwards to reveall innards. the button cluster is held in place by plastic clips, some of these may have broken - but there are two places where u can put screws in.....

By-Eck, that is exactly how my old Hoover WD broke - but that must have been fifteen to twenty years ago!

How old is your machine?

18 months.

Thanks Albob, all sorted this afternoon. Luckily I have a 7mm socket I hate it when companies use plastic clips cos it makes the manufacturing easy. Had to cut down two self-tapping screws, they're in there now, better than new
