As with a lot of other people, he's worth a lot more dead than alive.

It's good to finally have some decent music in the charts for once.

Its funny, he has been around since the seventies, he carks it and everyone rushes out to buy the albums, its not like he had dissapeared and never got played.

I do think he was overated, he made some good songs but I cant be arsed with the current circus and bleating.

Who is this Jamie Foxx, some awards show he said,

We want to celebrate this black man - he belongs to us - and we shared him with everybody else

What a ****.

I also think he was overrated.

I don't see any sign of all this hype calming down.

Sorry, But I find it damn annoying to be brutally honest.

Yes yes he's dead, now move on.

Will it be the same when Gary Glitter dies?

Let's face it, a handful of decent songs 25 years ago, then became a pedo. What's the difference?

Lol @ comparing Jacko to Glitter.

I dont honestly think you can compare Jacko to anyone alive in the pop world today.

He has taken over the charts at the moment. God knows how many singles have entered the charts this week. I guess his estate will get the money tho, so some bills might get paid.

Funny thing is, I remember he had an auction of a load of his things after his trial, and about 2 people turned up.

People have very short memories!

The fact his music is still selling and topping the chart, shows he still has a massive fanbase.

Michael Jackson has topped the UK album chart and made six new entries in the singles top 40.
Greatest hits album Number Ones rocketed from 121 to the top spot after a surge in sales since the superstar's death on Thursday.

The same album earned Jackson his last number one when first released in 2003.

Four of his other hit albums also made a reappearance in the top 20, the Official Charts Company said.
If Gary Glitter achieves this level of sales on his death, i will gladly teabag his dead corpse!

Can you provide a source for this? As I call bullsh1t

Do you not remember how many turned up to support him at his trial? and what about his O2 tour selling out?
