Pi x radius squared x depth = 3.1415 x 25 x 2 = about 157 cubic feet = roughly 4.5 cubic meters = 980 gallons = 4360 litres.

Also = 1,251,746 teaspoons if you're interested.

It depends on how much the kids are going to pee in it

If it's filled from the mains supply then the water will already have chlorine in which will last a while (but not long)

Is this a round 10 ft diameter being 2 ft deep? If so this is 4,400 litres or 1000 gallons.

Try and keep a cover over it as this will keep it warmer and it will take longer to go green.

Assuming 10ft is the diameter (total width) of the pool.
Radius = 5ft = 1.524m
Surface Area= Pi*1.524*1.524=7.3 m2
Depth 2ft= 0.61M -> Volume=7.3*0.61=4.45 m3
1m3=1000 litres -> Volume in litres=4450

Some rounding going on but not enough to make any real difference

Dunno about peeing in it - YOUR kids appear to have drunk more than 500 gallons of it! LOL...

Two answers Hank...

My initial answer pretty much concurs with RJMS at about 980 gallons / 4400 litres

I know but 2% due to rounding was a bit high for my liking.

amazing to think the ancients worked this stuff out drawing in the sand (and used to get it 99.99% accurate)

still thats progress for you

I am impressed that you managed to grasp the size of it

Yeah the kids take after their dad - they drink too much. You quoted my pre-edited post which I swiftly corrected when it dawned on me that I had cocked up the maths!

Anyway I never bothered with chlorine for a splash pool.......
