Cancellation of mobile contracts - coming to an end.
Sorry if the title is misleading... basically I need help with the following pweese
I have a Vodafone contract with three numbers on it (one for me, the Mrs and my dearest mother). Now me and the Mrs' numbers are all good, but my mother has got a new phone in her name and the number in my name expires on July 9th this year. I called Vodafone and said I wanna get rid of it as of the finish date, and they told me I had to put it in writing for 30 days.
All I wanna know is what do I write? Do I need to include certain details, passwords etc? or simply...
"I Mr XXXX wish to cancel the number XXXXX XXXXXX as of such a date. This is my 30 notice yadda yadda."
Then sign at the bottom so they have my signature?
Any help would be cool as I haven't done this before having just upgraded.
TIA

Yeh, thats pretty much it.
Name, address, account number, mobile number to be cancelled, date you would like it cancelled. Might be worth putting the reason in too, unless you want to be contacted by the cancellations dept every 5mins trying to get you to stay on.
Most importantly, send it RECORDED DELIVERY. Heard too many stories of networks saying they havent received letters, etc.
Im sure most networks these days are happy with a telephone call to cancel, must just be Vodafone left now who want it in writing still?
